What are they made of?
A soft, slow-rising squishy material. Squeeze one flat and it takes a moment to come back — that slow return is the satisfying part.
They are toys, not food. Nothing in the box is edible.
How big are they?
They are mini squishies — desk and pocket sized, made to sit in a palm rather than fill it. If you are expecting a large plush toy, this is not that.
Is it safe for young children?
It contains small parts, so it is not suitable for children under 3. From about 5 upwards it is straightforward, with an adult opening the doors for the youngest.
What if it arrives after December has started?
Then you start late and catch up in one sitting — the doors are numbered, not dated. It is worth knowing, because it means a late order is not a wasted one.
That said, the calendar is at its best sitting on the side before the 1st, which is the only real reason to order it sooner rather than later.
